If we were to choose the color
would it still  be a yellow sun
could we ever imagine solar
in grayish shades of dun
foliage all colors,grasses green
color suits them just right
the mind that matched is keen
must have had second sight

Take the  sky,main color blue
can you think of any better
that would match it so true
even in the worst of weather
colors seem to shape our ways
throughout life's odyssey
birth to weddings to end of days
a kaleidoscope is what we see

There are also many words
flamboyant, brilliant,complexion
pigment, just a few we've  heard
that come from colors lexicon
if we were to live in black and white
this planet would cease to exist
we must have sun and all of its light
wondrous color makes us all artists
