I sat silently in the softly soniferous rain
partialy protected by a bus kiosk

I wasn't waiting for a bus,just walking, and
decided to stop and observe for a while

It is a lovely area outside a park,filled with
lovely wildflowers,and birds chattering

A large Oak tree allows visits by butterflies
hummingbirds,etc keeping them mostly dry

The spring rain is warm in the 77% temp we
 have here ,in california

I'm always surprised by this kind of steady rain
like a faucet turned low never wavering

The ambience is gentle, like in a half sleep and
everything is misty including ones thoughts

In fact I began to have visions as if dreaming
yet I was sure I was awake

I don't know how long I sat there in total cozy
contentment,I didn't want to know

How wondrous it is to lose oneself and be truly
unburdened, I must do it more often...
