Poem Artwork

the force of the first rain , in 4 months,
gave me a surge of energy, and I welcomed
it with glee-

the whole drama was a symphony of excitation,
with the sounds of creation

Thunder Bam Boom1 Lighting Crackle Pop,
Rain  Splish Splash,Wind Swoosh Howl
Roar, and with it I soar

i have always loved rainstorms,snowstorms
or any kind of storm, they excite me whatevr
the form

both the thrill of the unknown, hint of fear,
with  feel of refreshment, and renewal

viewing the power of destruction, is awesome,
even with regrets for the damage or injury

I delight in the storm that does no harm,
to frolic in rain or snow makes me all aglow

etw

California is suffering. But then California has always suffered from too little rain and earthquakes. Enjoy the respite.

Perfection! You capture the primal link betwixt humans and nature with such economy.

and in what Desert are you in now
For the last month we have been geeting a storm everyday
lasting approx. 30 minutes then the sun comes out again
sometimes we get 2 or three of those passing storms
I too love storms, I open my garage door, sit on a chair
and enjoy the sound of the down pour and the rumbling of thunder...
Love & peace be with you

William

I love the rains, too, Eileen, and we've also need them so badly. Yet, nine days and staying may be a bit much for now. Your words do make it all so alluring, 'tho, dear friend :o)

Eileen,
A great sense of release in this poem, both in you and in the sky, a pouring forth, a catharsis of nature.

Love it Eileen, just love it. My little dog is scared of thunder and hides under the bed until it stops. She's enen been know to growl at it before she ducks. I sometimes think she thinks she's a Rotweiller. Keep up the great work. I like your poetry very, very much.
