The most angst
As they long for
A traditional,

Of family experience.
But, for me,
The hardest holiday to endure
Must be St. Valentine's Day,
For it truly is
A one dimensional day,
A day that exists
Solely to celebrate
True love
And the couples lucky enough
To have found it.
But what of the rest of us
Who are not a part
Of a couple?
Can there be no love
For us?
I submit
That February 13th or 15th
Be designated as
Single Persons Awareness Day,
With cards and flowers
And lots and lots of chocolate
That show us that
Even though we are single
There are still those who love us
In other, just as important, ways.
