THIS is the way I wanted it to be presented. Originally titled, "Banshee in the Storm."
I should have run when I had the chance, Fearing death, then, who is to blame? A banshee calls from a closer distance, She's calling me out by the name!
She calls out in the blackness of night, I can't stop my ears to her moan! I dwindle to nothing in my fright, And yell, "Go away! I'm not home!"
She taunts in the roaring of the wind, She promises a night of pain! Forgive me, Father, for I have sinned... Cold laughter echoes in the rain!
She bellows my name in thunder's crash, Suddenly throws open the door! She hands me my heart in lightning's flash, I've no use for it any more!
