I AM OKAY. I promise! Just another write that came to me--

Poem Artwork

Life jerks the rug out from under my feet,
I slam to the floor, lay in liquid heat,
I burn, how it burns!  I cry out in pain,
I wish for the rain, I wish for the rain!

Life covers me in a shroud of blindness,
Where I am, there is no hint of kindness,
It's so dark, it's so dark!  I cannot see,
I wish to be free, I wish to be free!

Life pins my hands and arms down to my side,
I am forced to go along for the ride,
Let me go, let me go!  This isn't peace,
I wish for release, I wish for release!

Life kills my body again and again,
I.  Feel.  EVERYTHING.  I pray for the end,
The tears, o, the tears no one hears me cry,
I just want to die, I just want to die!

I am glad this is only fiction! I have almost been to that point myself, and it is a place I don't ever want to visit again!

I am happy that you are well. This is very powerful because so many feel this way and, unfortunately, some are not strong enough. This poem of yours matches exactly to the last one that I posted. Merci mon amie. Amour et paix. Régis
