This came to me while watching "Dr. G., Medical Examiner" on the Discovery Health Channel.

Poem Artwork

Azure skies and golden sun
Surrounded by the clouds
Lightning flashes from a gun
Thunder scatters the crowd

The victim falls to the ground
No one sees anything
Ragged gasps the only sound
Of a soul that's dying

Rain bleeds from the open wounds
The victim breathes his last
Another one, gone too soon
More gang wars are forecast

Excellent analogy Karla! Fantastic write. Yes it is
disturbing, but life is more violent than ever, and the
storms seem to be too!
