How True - I think we have come to truly expect lies from politicians, on both sides of the arena, and we somehow rationalize all of them, and decide which lies we like the best.
Excellent - but aint it the daggone truth that we can encourage folks to lie because we just can't bear hearing what's real? (I seem to be slipping accents, here!) I have heard it said that if you believe a lie for long enough, it ACTUALLY becomes truth to you such that if you were put through "lie-detection" it would not come up as anything other than your belief that it IS truth in your brainwaves. Apparently this happens a lot with politicians!! Grey is a horrid colour, but it seems that living with black and white is just too traumatic for us human beings!! Oh, Karla, the "art of the lie" has reached new heights in contemporary society. Politicians are particularly good at the game, but so too are doctors, lawyers and Indian Chiefs!
