Why do I torture myself? Going out on
the busiest shopping day of the year --
idiot. Could have waited, but colds wait
for no one. Twin sister sick. Needed
relief; Kleenex and antibacterial sanitizer
was on sale. Watched happy shoppers
be anything but: fighting, shoving while
yelling at top of their lungs, 'Hey, that's
mine.' (Didn't matter you had two of the must have items in your cart.) Did you ever stop to think there will be those who
won't be having a Merry Christmas this
year while you beat the rest of us b.Lack
and blue with your selfishness? Have the
bruises to prove it. Guess their happiness
comes first. Least I still have money left!
"b.lack" Friday is a cross between mayhem and purgatory from my experience -- I went with my wife once, long ago now -- I have not repeated that trick since -- my wife and I were at home this past b.lack Friday -- away from the madness and self centered shoppers you describe in your poem Karla -- peace and love to you my dear friend -- I hope sis is back to normal -- Jon Michael
