Daddy, I miss you. Merry Christmas.

Poem Artwork

All I want for Christmas is for my
Daddy to come back.  I miss him:
but that's a present no one can give
--- not even God or Santa can pull
that one off.  Would be a Christmas
miracle, indeed.  But no, I'm sitting
here, tears running down my face,
with only memories to unwrap ---
want him here, to hold me in his
arms and tell me he loves me and
he's proud of me and that it will be
okay --- why do the good ones die?

Dear Karla,

Surely your daddy's tears are dropping from heaven upon reading this. You are so young yet into the process of grief. It will never go away but it will become more bearable.

Much love, Micki Peluso

It's no consolation to say we all go through it,but I do know how you feel, and you say it so well! Your Daddy's spirit is with you so snuggle in and let him ease your pain and longing for him.

Love and hugs,

I understand your pain, my Daddy has been gone so long but I always wish I had time now with him again. Heart touching Karla. I feel our Daddy's are still near to love us unconditionally like they did when we could still see them.

There are no magic words or miracles that can bring back or make the pain of losing loved ones easier. There is though a sense of knowing that we were fortunate in sharing their love for so long and so willingly. As we grow older we realize that death is as much a part of life as birth. Hang in there for that is what he would want.

Dear Karla, as I said it before, your Daddy never left, he's inside your heart, just close your eyes and see him, just open your ears and listen...he telling you about his love...

This is sad. Sadder as it reminds me of my own loss and how, since 1998, I've wished my father here at Christmas. I know your heart and how it aches. You have treasures to last a lifetime as your father gifted you with talent and a love for mankind. That's wonderful.
God bless you!Blessings and love,
Susan

Your words are beautiful as your Dad is looking down through the window up above Karla. He loves you and is with you every second, the strength of his arms is what keeps you going dear.

Newfie Hugs are on the way dear, Rose

Oh Karla ...
Such pensive thoughts.
My Mother passed in 1998.
Missing her creeps up in me
sometimes like high tide.
I keep a picture of her
in my nightstand.
It helps!

Oh Karla- we're all wanting a family hug after this one.
This is my first Christmas without Dad.
Reality just seems strange.
Memories are more powerful that I thought.
I know somehow his DNA is is buzzing me through this life.
There was so much of "his stuff" that I didn't pay so much attention to while he was here. I am discovering how amazing his stuff was, and making it my stuff. That is helping.
((( Hugs )))

The Holidays just aren't the same when a loved one leaves us. My Dad is gone nine years now, and the Holiday Season still isn't the same for me without him being around.

I'm sorry to hear this. A touching piece. A touching peace. He's still with you. Just not in the physical sense. But there's more to our existence than the physical. Embrace that other part you know in your heart is really there. Then you'll be back in his arms...forever. Take care.

I know the feeling Karla
Mine was too busy working to feed Nine
To take time off for hugs and saying I love you
he did all with his actions
Kept us fed, clothe and in school
with a roof over our heads.....
when he past, we all cried, we were all grown then
with children of our own.......
That was a long time ago
love & peace be with you

William
