of Them. They march to
different orders. They only
say what They want you to
know as TRUTH --- what we
knew as Truth is being
ruled unconstitutional, a
pack of lies, according to
Them. You can feel it heavy
in the air, over land and
over sea: the coming storm.
The rattle of muskets at Lexington grows louder with each passing day. Long ago, yet near and once again clear. Liberty is under overt attack each day. May you know joy peace and love always my dear friend, Karla. Jon Michael

Dear Karla,
American's rights under the U.S. Constitution were taken away by something called the "Patriot Act" under the Bush administration. It is true that President Obama has not yet taken the necessary steps to restore the rights of American citizens that were stolen by Bush and I am disappointed by that. President Obama studied and taught Constitutional Law at the University level so I am keeping the faith that he will do the right thing for America by reversing the crimes committed by the Bush administration.
As a child learning about the truth held captive in the Soviet Union I felt so blessed to live in a land where propaganda and censorship would never happen here. Somehow we let our guard now, and now the storm comes in waves, the worst of it yet to arrive. Have mercy.
Karla, wonderfully and brutally short and to the point. Sadly this started before 911, way back when the first ocean liner was attacked and a man in a wheelchair thrown overboard--the terroist who did it now is president of iran. Worse the storm is already here as we have been infiltrated to the point where we will have to once again defend our country or lose it. I hope there are really patriots out there ready and waiting. May God help us all!
And the storm is still coming too. 9/11 was only the beginning. We have small storms here and there, but the real storm is yet to come. I only pray to God that there were no wears so our young people wouldn't be put in harm's way. This is without doubt Karla, the most esoteric poem I have read to date about what is coming. But when it comes, will we be ready, or will we just go on with our lives, not caring one way or the other.
This war is in Iraq, not here, so what do I care. Well, I care, and I will not just sit by if they tell me the storm has hit our shores.
You did good Karla this was written with a lot of thought. Thank you for sharing.

This is the high-tech surveillance grid they're installing to watch our every move. They told us it was about terrorism, al Qaeda, people over there. Nonsense! Headfake. It's about exactly what's unfolding now. When they come to rob you blind, bankrupt the economy, destroy your life and usher in the new era of post-industrial, post-democratic, oligarchical collectivism, they know there will be an uprising. They've covered their bases. This the 21st century scientific dictatorship. They will get all their pieces in place and drop the hammer of full-bore tyranny on our heads with the next orchestrated crisis. And every crisis is orchestrated. Another beauty Karla. You're hitting the message out of the park. Keep waking people up one mind at a time.
Remember the snake in The Jungle Book, how it would seduce, or try to seduce, its prey? Your poem reminded me of it, without the childhood innocence. Very well penned. Rebecca
It is time we, as Americans, as believers, realize our freedoms and rights are being taken away. Time we stand up, united, and say: "NO MORE! Enough is ENOUGH!" Very well penned/illustrated; a powerful and necessary write! And that piccy: chilling but beautifully effective for this poem!
