Your poem is beautiful, Emile. I, too, love flowers and the last stanza in your poem describes how I feel. When I have a beautiful flower bloom in my yard, or my roses, I can't cut them. I want to see them attached to their nurturement for as long as God wants it to survive---where I can smell it day by day until it reaches its season.
There is something so striking about flowers in the field (or back yards). They remind us of renewal of life, their colors exploding in gratitude. Beautiful poem and photo!
