This was written as I listened to the song "These are a few of my favorite things" from the movie "Sound Of Music"
I thought I would play with the "things" theme.
"These Are A Few Of My Childhood Things"

Polly Anna, Candy Canes, lucky charms,
paper dolls, jumping jacks,
Barbie, Ken and Midge,
slap jack, candy land, dating game,
These are a few of my childhood things.
In a blink of an eye things surely change:
Anna Nicole Smith, Granola bars, oatmeal,
singing dolls, computer exercises,
Barbie as someone else and not herself,
black jack, yahoo games, match.com.
These are a few of my children's things,
Surely innocence has left the building.
Or was that an Elvis doll?

I was POSITIVE today, had my CAR INspected, had to by END of Decemember. and with my too dark (for Mass rules) *( I hate RULES! I am an Adult, why rules)
It passed, the guy noticed AFTER the fact, but I have it! Another YEAR to decide what I will do, and it's only my #2 BAckWindows, not even my Pass/Drivers side door. Geez, and I have my PURPLE Windshield resevoir tips done a mo. ago by Paul, I love em'! I put my Auto start on and they light up for ME! Smiling... In Mass, it's called 3rd party Marker Lights and You can get stopped for it and pay a STupid fine! Dumb! Dumb! Dumb! There are other important "things" to get too, I shall write a poem on it lol
Yes we blink an eye and a decade dissappears lost in the murkiness of memories.
