Aquí estamos con un plan
De poder tener la isla
Para nosotros sin
Los tontos hermanos Ed.
Escrito por sobrino Eduardo

[Translation:
Here we are with a plan
Of having the isle to ourselves
Without those silly brothers Ed.
Written by Cousin Eduardo.]

Edification, from ‘Ed’spaña

By Kathy Armijo

‘Twas me desire to behead the Eds
And adorn me mastheads
But Capt. LaBelle, Edwina, Edith Bonnie and me
Invented a plan
To finally rid the isle
Of those bothersome brother Eds

The plan was simple
To gain the isle and have the last laugh
Me wrote the note in Spanish
For all the Eds to see
While LaBelle claimed it was in French
About St. Croix and a dead
Uncle Too-Loose La Wreck

Them Eds are sure dumb
The lot of them ain’t got no schoolin’

They pretendin’ to be readin’
The attorney’s note
All the while thinkin’
‘Bout bordellos, spas and rum
And a larger isle for all to share

[Them Eds ain’t got any light bulbs to spare

They be boarding boats and going out to sea]

Meanwhile, the Edwina’s, Edith and me
Will board our ships
And head for Chesapeake Bay
There a few weeks we’ll stay
Whilst the Eds head for St. Croix

[Near Baja, California –

According to the fake map]

They be gone for at least
Five years
We won’t be sheddin’ any tears

Yo, ho ho and a bottle of rum
We sure is having some fun
Whilst those brothers Ed
Head out to sea
They sure be dim-witted!

Wonderful but I have taken me treasure cashed them in and purchased a 30 foot highway schooner and am heading the out. In dark of night we raided your Belly Isle and may find your buried treasured a little light Eds, La Belle and SC but I and me lovelies will truly enjoy theproceeds. By the way mates, I took a few pair of Belles and SC and Kathy's lacy things to put under me pillow for a souvenir...hope ya'll don't mind...

Eduardo I must go
or lose the inheritance you know
why not let Pee Wee Ed
have that yon isle instead
the animals need a home
to enjoy while they roam
besides that yon island be so small
it couldn't hold all a us a tal

Ye may be a bit late, Eduardo! Looks like some of the Eds are withdrawing from battle before ye got to implement your devilish plan! But some Eds will always be at war!

Oh Kathy, Yo'all show them Eds who's gona win,
When they're made real fools of,
To show them all up, will be a grave sin.

Thanks for another smile.

Give them a keg of rum
and some ladies of the night
and they'll be too busy to worry
about a battle to fight
--for the isle.

You'll not take me little head
nor the big one that belongs to Ed
When the fortnight comes
you'll not be dead
Just servants lyin' upon me bed
