a profoundly wise message ...

Debby this is my life in a nutshell. everyhing you say here, is what is happening to me in my soul. My soul is being ripped apart from the inside, and my ego, ... well, my ego isn't that big, but I do demand that I be treated as the woman I am and always have been. The authoriteis don't see it that way tho, and feel anyone like me is dangerous. Why can't they see me, for who I really am, instead of who they wish me to be? Anyway Debby, thnx for sharing. Just to grow and think would be an accomplishment in the human condition. Most just look for something to blame or are so engrossed in sophomoric platitudes. It doesn't enhance the living. This is insightful work, Debby. Rich with meaning. Well done.

I felt a centering of spirit while reading this poem.

wise and truthful write filled with the patient truth of life's design. It sparkles almost as much as the jewels you wear around your neck in your bio pic that match so well the sparkle in your eyes.

impulse has its own wisdom and logic that inspires a new year respect for the instinctive forces of life. Love follows us from the cradle to the grave. Plato's Symposium finds the conception of a ladder where the soul may ascend from human love to divine, but this is a ladder in the strictest sense. You reach the higher rungs by leaving the lower ones behind. The original object of human love falls out of sight before the soul arrives at the spiritual object. Platonists at the Renaissance imagine love reaches the divine without abandoning the human and becomes spiritual while also remaining carnal, which I am inclined to believe. This poem in itself is a guidance to spiritual truth, Debby. Nice energy flowing through this.
