Poem Artwork

A gentle breeze softly whispers

Through the mountain oaks,

Leaving tiny ripples on the lake.

 

One lone squawking duck

Serenely paddles past,

Enjoying these final lazy days.

 

Emerald leaves with hints

Of gold sway gently,

As if waving their farewell.

 

The warmth of day gives welcome to

The coolness of the evening, as we await

Nature’s gift and her kaleidoscope of color.
