Goodness!

Hate those moments of swelling, bubbling, gurgling, burping, regurgitant releases of methane. Especially when it clears the room and you don't want to take the blame.

Foul gas is certainly one of the banes of our humanness.

Been there, Silver. I don't have acid reflux all the time but if I eat heavy carbs in the evening I am guaranteed to be waking up with that painful burn and uncomfortable bloat. I am sorry for your sleeplessness but from the depths of discomfort you have birthed a fantastic poem...graphic says it all!!

Should have came and talked to me I sat up till two working on some projects hoping someone would pop in on MSN or Yahoo to chat, alas no one did. good write and both subjects you covered in it I can relate to.

But, I drink lots of diet soda and coffee and tea...
and that is why I am up tonight talking with just me.

I skip the pop, but the coffee and tea keep me up many a night! And I love that photo.

I had those moments when the gas filled my stomach and wouldn't come out. I tossed and turned and I couldn't get to sleep, because it gave me great pain.

It seems fun when I read your poem, but I know the true feeling. I'm so glad you can at least write this out. Hope you are feeling better already.
