Oh my have we gone crazy? I HATE pills.

Poem Artwork

You Can Have Whatever You Need!

Take a pill for this; take a pill for that,
This pill will make you thin; this one will make you fat.
There’s a pill for everything and every ailment known to man.
There’s a pill to make you happy there’s one to make you tan.

There’s a pill to make you sleep, one to make you wake.
It depends on what you need on which one you should take.
If you have a headache there are many you can choose.
There are even pills in sports so you can win not lose.

What in the world are we thinking, I’ve always hated pills.
Even as a child when I got sick and had the crappy chills.
So now it seems important that your medicine cabinets filled.
So you can have whatever you need, by just taking a pill.

I too take two handfuls everyday I have no idea what each do.
But I know if I didn’t take them, I wouldn’t be here with you.

This is so true! I've been taking pills since I was a teen-ager and I'm still alive!

You better take your pills. I like your being here. But yes, there is a pill for everything but not one to cure so we wouldn't have to continually take these darned pills. Lol. Liz

You are so right Bonnie! We are living in a society that has pills for whateer ails you these days almost to the point of insanity....

Be always safe,
Karen

Cute and true. Some doctors over-prescribe and of course, some people think they have to have a pill for every little thing.
It's like a man--can't live with them, can't live without them.

Love,
Connie

By all means, Bobbie, take your pills. And continue
to entertain the world with your writing and good humor.

It's nuts, isn't it?? We need to take more pills to counteract the side effects of what we're already on; it's no wonder we're so loopy-headed all the time! D'OH!!

(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in tx., Karen Lynn. :(

Those that don't want pills are given them by the shovel (they nearly killed me trying to heal a tooth infection) and we are they that have a big craving for pills and pills and pill and get none.
Yes, I hate pill too, they make our body lazy and stop producing the elements to heal itself.

Bonnie,

It's a racket, don't you know? The reason they call it medical PRACTICE is because they've not perfected it yet - and we're the guinea pigs who know!!! Well done.

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.

Bonnie, I have a pill poem too. I agree we use too many pills, some are necessary for well-being but some are just ridiculous :)

Agree with you on pills Bonnie, but they are sometimes necessary. I have to keep taking mine and now take sleeping pills too. What we have to do we will do, huh?
