I just couldn't resist!

This is for my daughter, Ginny, Granddaughter, Jordan, Grandson Dalton (Little Man) You can play music on my sofa anytime.

Poem Artwork

Bookends Come to Visit Me!

A set of bookends come to visit me each and every week.
Lying end to end on the sofa, actually lookin’ sweet.
The one starts a snorin’ and the other joins right in.
It’s the start of my musical weekend & just how it begins.

I actually don’t want a radio or an Ipod like most possess.
I have all the music I need right there on the sofa, totally at rest.
The sounds they make are priceless and have quite a repertoire.
Especially when Little Man joins in, who’s lying on the floor.

I constantly think they come to find out about my week.
But they quickly find the sofa and immediately fall asleep.
Oh, I don’t mind so much really, for I love to have them home.
And with their performances going on, I don’t feel so alone.

Great picture and cute write!
My husband loves taking photos of the funny positions our children get in when they are asleep. The best two... One of our daughters was found sleeping on the stairs, but she had sat on a Christmas bow first...so there she was with her bum in the air, proudly sporting a Christmas bow! hee, hee...
The second one was when my husband took our son and turned him completely upside down...trying to wake him up to go to the bathroom...he just slept on...hee, hee...
The photos are priceless!

This is a real joy, Bonnie. I=m sure the melody of their snores reach your soul in very spcial ways that other music can=t. Splendid write and please convey my best wishes to the girls and their brother, little man.
