But you never get between a man and his wife.
For it could lead to your peril or your precious life.
Love them both dearly and you can even lend an ear.
But stop right there, for their wrath could be severe.
Give them a shoulder and hugs when they’re in need.
But keep your mouth shut or more than your lip will bleed.
