Nails are only a penny a pound
a mallet a few bucks more
together they can build
walls in which things can be stored.
But the nails I remember
holds memories of pain,
of a world filled with sinners
who watched without shame.
The nails have since rusted
and perished from there form,
but the scars the left
embe dded markings of reform.
So when you hit the nail on the head
remember the price that we paid,
remember the one who silently bled
and that one day the price we shall repay.

Hi Tracey, I thought it started out great, then petered out a bit.
Nails are only a penny a pound,
A mallet be but a few bucks more,

In the wooden boxes of that store.
I liked it, did not care for the picture much, but reality seldom has a pretty face.
