Linda, I truly thank you for this magnificent write. We abondoned God shortly after 911! God has abondoned us. We didn't want Him in our classrooms, we didn't want Him in our courtrooms, and we thought we could live our lives without God. God always saves a remnant of his people all over the world. Because of Christian people like yourself and others praying, America will not perish. We still have time to turn from our wicked ways and acknowledge God and He will deliver us, forgive us, and who knows possibly save us! May peace never cease.!!!

God is indeed the answer to our prayers Linda, and if only we could turn back time and go back to when religion was a part of our schools, our courts and our whole society. If we as a nation could turn to God at this time, then either candidate would be fine. A thought provoking write here, nice.

Obama scares me; somehow I don't trust him. He reminds me of a snake! The Lord does need to heal our land, but WE need to get back to the Biblical foundations upon which our (once) great nation was founded; and we need to put GOD back into our homes, our schools, our land!! Only then will He heal our land; we have to acknowledge Him first! God help us, and I pray this prayer every day!

Hi Linda,this is well written poem and every American share the same sentiments in this poem.For the last 8 years,this country has gone down the drain in more ways than one.America is crying right now and God will be the napkin that will dry off our tears away.From unemployment to high gas prices to the economic crises in Wall Street,we need to heal this country from all the bad things that are happening right now.I am glad you share this poem,take care
