Sometimes Home is Not Where the Heart Is....

Time to go home but
I can't seem too
Not much there..
Nothing to do.
My wife stays busy
With housework and such
Not much time for
A tender touch.
Why can't she see
My need within?
She acts like we
Are livin' in sin.

I'd weather stay at work
Then go home
Pretending to love
Knowing it's gone.
Cold as the snow
Silent as a tomb
Still alone though
in the same room.
Nothing to go home for
This is no kind of life
Living with an iceberg
For a wife.

I've tried talking to her
She turns away
Doesn't try to listen to
What I have to say.
How much must a man
take before he moves on?
Any love she had for me
Has long gone.
Like a zombie I live my life
Silently I cry
As I watch whats left of my love
Slowly die.....

Such a shame when the attention leaves, and people are taken for granted.

Linda,
Such a sad but true write, you have captured a life that many men live. Its so hard to rebuild that love when hurt this way. Excellent write.

This Write Is Very True. The World We Are Living In Has Accuried A Fashion That Every Individual Is Mean To ThemSeleves. Never Bother What Other Think Of Them. What Other Feel For Them. How Much Others Care For Them. They Are Just Mean To ThemSelevs. Just Mean To ThemSelves. EvenThough They Understand Other. They Close Their Eyes Before Them.

All Are Mean In This World. Every One Every One. When i was reading this write. I was thinking of my life. I always looked at others with lot of care, friendship and goodness for then. I used to spend hours with others trying to solve out my friends problems. But when time comes. They just turn their face away. As if he really dont know who i'm. Every One ... every individual is mean. This is a fact i understand from this small world.

Good Write ...
