For children and cat lovers!!! Like me.... I love you Blue!!!

Poem Artwork

Little Blue kitty cat on my desk,
Whatever shall I do?
Your favourite place to take a nap,
Severely obstructs my view!
You’re a portly little guy,
At nearly twenty pounds,
And when you perch upon my desk,
My keyboard can’t be found!
You simply will not settle down,
Unless I rub your ears,
And when you finally do stretch out,
My keyboard disappears!
I guess I’ll have to face it,
There’s nothing else to do,
I’ll simply let you finish your nap,
And come back when you’re through!

Great poem Annabel as though you wrote it about my cat.

Too heavy to lift; too stubborn to shove;
Too peaceful to disturb this cat that I love.
Your cats bring much inspiration for enjoyable poetry.

This is delightfully done, Annabel. I do like cats very much but one does not have to be a cat lover to enjoy your poem. Thank you. Love and best wishes,

Life with Cats is never, ever dull - I have several kitties just like your Blue, and I never know what next, they will do!

Very cute, and, though with me it's a king sized, Cavalier King Charles Spaniel rather than a blue kitty cat, When Kody plants himself someplace within the center of a doorway, or, most often on my lap, nothing moves until he does.

:) so sweet - a nice read for the end of a day, after having read whole lot of heavy ironworks, or a superbly dull day at work or running around the place.

my mom's little dog loves to sleep on the lover shelf of their computer desk, or right by her feet, bumping up against her ankles. :)

thank you!

A cat is in your face,
He is so out of place,
Hail Mary full of Grace.
