I love the fall season and all its beauty

Autumns Serenity

 .

Autumn is the time of year

When all of nature rests

The flowers and the trees

No birds in empty nests

 .

Trees show their splendor

Colors so bright, so beautiful

The shades of fall enchanting

A feast for all of us to view

 .

The cottages on the shores

Flickering flames of  fireplaces

Warmth and serenity ensues

 Hypnotic dreams of faraway places

The vivid images in this write of yours Kathy brings back so many past memories and makes me want to hold on to the present ones in the making. Fall with the leafs, Halloween, getting ready for the snow etc has always been one of my best times. Thanks for bringing it alive aggain for me.
