Christmas Story
The precious Babe
Sleeps in peace
Though the winter’s night is cold
Wise men will come
To honor Him
Bringing frankincense and gold
The Christmas Star
Shines night and day
O’er His tiny manger stall
He brings to those
Who live on earth
God’s message of love for all
His Virgin Mother
Cuddles Him
Sweetly feeds Him from her breasts
This Child of God
A timeless gift
In his mother’s arms, He rests
Beasts of burden
By His side
Somehow understand His worth
They stand in awe
Of this tiny child
Brought to us through holy birth
Wrapped in rags
Laid in a trough
Piled high with straw and hay
In that little stall
In Bethlehem
The Son of God, born this day
