You want warm...ha...come to the desert in the summer. Your sneakers melt into the asphalt. Hot sand storms can strip the paint off cars and erode mountians.
Cute poem...reminds me of living in the East and getting very tired of winter, myself.
Not here. Chilly, but not cold. At least, not yet. A "major" cold wave expected here by the weekend. YEAH RIGHT--I'll see it when it gets here (and then whine, because it's too cold and windy LOL).
Everyone gripes at the weather. As my Daddy says, "The weather's gonna do, what the weather's gonna do, so there's no use worrying about it." Still, I feel better when I whine......

Warm air. Cold air. Wet. Dry. Hot. I do believe if we couldn't bi**h about the weather we would lose it. The same thing every year, without fail, pray for the heat and humidity to go away and then pray for the cold which answered your prayers. Not picking on you, Henry, just musing aloud. The poem was well done, It's just me I guess. The weather is the weather.
I loved this; I could use some cold weather here in Texas. It's been incredibly dry and mild; we are in the middle of a severe drought. Send us some, y'hear?? *grins* Well done, Hank!
