How the lost was found.

My portable old telephone.
It went some place somewhere unknown,.
I've searched around hither and yon .
It once was here but now its gone.

But late at night I heard a tone.
That sounded like my missing phone.
The harmony was there and yet
It sounded like a phone duet

I traced the sound -- to my surprise.
I found it right beneath my eyes.
But not alone, I quickly see.
My standard phone hid it from me.

I guess it pays to have two phones
With vastly different sounding tones.
