Poem Artwork

Listen to the wind,
Blowing softly in the breeze,
Try to hear what the wind,
Is saying to your heart…

Listen to me,
When I hold you so close,
And whisper with my fingertips,
Words I want you to hear…

Stop asking, stop seeking,
What I don’t want you to find…
Just listen to my heart,
Tell you what it feels…

Listen to the abyss,
As it opens its mouth so wide,
Tempting me to step inside,

Listen to me asking with my heart,
For you to pull me away from the edge,
Before the dark shadows that whisper
Forever in my mind,
Tell me just leap,
And cast your worries aside…

Listen to my lips,
Tell you how much I love you,
How much I wish you were here,
With me now to quiet,
My deep despair…

Baby I need you to Listen,
Don’t want you to say a word,
Sit here quietly and listen to the
Song the sun sings,
As it sets the sky on fire…

I will run my fingers through your hair,
And listen to your heart,
As it tells me,
You love me too…

Loved listening, and reading this poem, Reindeer. Wonderful!

And that photo amazes me. I know a spot that looks very similar to this picture, and it's one of my favorite places.

Second and third stanzas are the heart of this poem. Stop seeking what you think is there; listen carefully instead. Good work. I enjoyed reading it.
