EFFORTLESSLY

It is the stride, the embrace, the touch, the look, the laughter, the kisses and the voice, all the movements, expressions and utterances he accomplishes effortlessly, that make this one particular man unique and extraordinary beyond compare.

When he embraces me, my head rests precisely over his heart, and the beating of that heart is nothing less than magnificent music to my ears, imparting a most private concert exclusively for my heart and soul to hear.

Although his stride is much longer than my own, he confidently walks alongside me, and when strolling, hand-in-hand, I am not in his towering shadow, but am instead, enveloped in a luminous aura that seems to swathe my entire being with loving assurance and a sense of well being.

With much larger hands, when he clutches mine within his, it is a sensation of loving shelter that courses though every fiber of my being.

My own reflection seems to swim in the deep pools of brown that are his eyes, lovingly allowing my spirit to bathe in the deepest depths of his soul.

His contagious laughter causes my heart to dance, the darkness to become brilliant daylight and worries to cease.

Experiencing his gentle, yet passionate, kisses weakens my knees, causes my hands to tremble and my head to spin with feverish delight.

Last, but not least, this man’s very voice can emanate inspiration, intimate ecstasy and a heretofore-unknown solace by merely uttering my name.

Accomplished effortlessly, by just being himself, these miraculous feats leave me breathless and in awe.
