How have we stumbled
in the name
of Freedom?
So fast
is the fall
from grace.
Has outrage
lost its meaning?
I stand
in a scathing wind
and feel sorrow
weeping
in the wicked gale.
Chameleon eyes,
the serpent’s way,
he will deliver you
to the promise
of eternal misery.
Corrupted
by an evil spirit
you are found
on the tongues
that teach
my children.
In the form
of Planned Parenthood
millions
of unborn children die
with the freedom
of choice.
You have frozen
the tongue
of the clergy
laid trees
and brambles
ahead
in the path
that has become
narrow.
Hiding
in the Chameleon’s
eyes
Darwin
walks the land
of the free.
Fear
is your sickle,
truth
your enemy.
You devour
only
what the God of Abraham
allows you to,
you sow
the dark seeds
amidst calamity.
I have stumbled,
but still
serve
the God of comfort.
I have heard
the truth.
It lives
in this heart
of mine,
growing
with each walk
in the Spirit.
Standing
at the platform,
redemption
whistled in.
Traveling faster
than a moonbeam,
as gentle
as the summer rain.
I have seen
this world
through
the Chameleon’s eyes
but reached
for the suffrages
that I endure.
Draw my blood
at the end
of your gratification,
strike me down
and watch me
rise again.
Cut out my tongue,
yet hear me
shouting.
For the day
is at hand.
All that I sacrifice
could not compare
to the love
of his Son.
Walk with me
and see the truth.
Listen
to the voice
that fills
an empty heart.
I will see you
on the Streets of Gold
in the House
of Silver Smoke.

Intuitively, I know I've lived many lifetimes, and none more interesting than the one I'm living now. However, being born an old soul somehow did not excuse me from the same job I share with you and that is learning to craft a positive attitude about
