Author Mary R. Woldering’s Paranormal/Fantasy Fiction, ‘The Caretaker, A Tale of Timeless Love,’ elicits a depth of emotions from the reader. Like Toby Jane Jenkins, caretaker of her beloved Willow’s ashes, you grow to believe that anything is possible from one side of the veil to the other. Ms. Woldering’s way with words sees that you do.
The southern hospitality inherent in the author’s vivid details enables the reader to feel right at home in Markus Creek, while succumbing to Pappy Markus Ilderton’s charm.
The reader gets swept up in the story’s heartrending scenes which take place under a magnolia tree on Samhain, progressing in time.
I highly recommend this well-written story empowered by love and teeming with sensitivity.
