Insanity of Fear is an attempt to acknowledge all in my life who've fired up my thinking and made me more and more aware of what little we really know about the mystery of free will thinking and creating, especially on a day when the power position of our country is caught in rupturing fear. Thus, we are left with the question of how to evade leadership’s implosion that could contaminate us with greater harm than anything nuclear. (Image by Pavlensky)
While I see a whole generation wrapped up in the "what if," of fear that seems almost irresponsible, when compared with the facts of the matter, I have faith that the unbridled optimism of youth is alive and well and moving forward without the fearful elderly population drawing the curtains on their, soon to be coming, death.
When I watch young sportspeople at the X games, I can't fathom the courage they have of things that when I was at their age, seemed totally impossible, or at least, physically impossible. And then, I see young people, spelling words with ease that I have never heard or read in my entire life. Not just in words or buzzwords being created every day and added to the Internet conversation, but all the words in English, some so archaic as to be rarely used anymore.
"Is one's home but a place locked safely away
beneath some naked honesty known by only a few?"
This is the question that jumps out at me from the poem, a question well worth pondering given the times we live in. The cycle of questions and answers will no doubt continue.
