Happy 4th July!

I would like to wish all Americans everywhere a very happy 4th July today. I hope those who can be home all have a good time with families and friends and I am especially thinking of all your family members serving in the military with our boys and girls in Afghanistan and who can't be home to celebrate with you today!

Seeing all the soldiers' medals at my niece's wedding brought home to me just how brave these young men and women truly are and what a great debt we owe to them. I weep for all those brought home to be laid to rest. It's such a waste and I pray that it will soon be over and they can return home.
