Last night my wife, Janet, and I went to the civic arena in Huntington, West Virginia for a rare treat. We saw the presentation of Celtic Woman . What a fantastic show! The music and singing couldn't have been better. I was disappointed that the arena wasn't filled, though. My feelings about the matter can be simply stated: "Shame on the citizens of Huntington." Had the show been one consisting of musical nonsense, then the place would have been packed to overflowing. Perhaps I'm getting way too old. Nonetheless, I must express the way I feel. What a loss for the Jewel City's citizens. They'll never know what they missed. Oh, I've seen Celtic Woman on PBS, but nothing quite equals the feel of a live performance. Enough said, except for the fact that I'm glad I possess good musical sense.
