This morning on the Today show, Matt Laurer interviewed John Grisham.  His advice to aspiring writers was to write one page per day [as opposed to Stephen King's ten].  I think I can handle Grisham's advice, however, so I should have my next book completed in time for the 2008 Christmas shopping season.  Presently, I probably have seventy-five pages of disorganized material on hand to keep me busy for a while.  Once this is put in order, I should be ready to keep the ball rolling from there to completion.  I think perhaps this is the jump start I've needed since my last book.  We'll see.  Up to this point, all I've accomplished is talking about getting something done.  And to think that I could've had five more books finished already.  Why have I allowed this precious time to slip away from me?  Life is but a vapor, and we must use it wisely.
