A new week

Yesterday was a rather pleasant day of sunshine,beautiful
sacred music, a somewhat unexpected visit to a den of one
armed bandits,an even more surprising win.
lunch at Pizza Hut with friends,nice wine .A strong winter
chill set in again and I awake on a bright blue sunny sky
once more but a cold Monday morning .The beggining of the
week,a brave new week always full of new people and yet to
be made friends. People are often complex The characters in
my book "A Cafe In Arcadia" display a variety of
personalities with diverse sides to them.Dimitra ,the Greek
American who discovers that she does not belong in
Greece,trapped in an unhappy marriage and is home sick for
New York.Idris the academic and romantic whos idylistic
mythological Greece is a far cry from the small insular
town of Sophiapolis where Armani is more immediate than
Artemis,Athena os Aphrodite. Mitch the American journalist
from Louisiana who is searching for God knows but why? Mrs
Vanaka,a great musician who now lives on the edge of the
town as a recluse who remenisces of her youth.Panaghiotis
the hard working cafe owner.The unpleasant demanding
Pandasis ,cief of police and his snobbish wife,Eleni.Father
Gregory, the priest ,whos family have there own particular
history and Evie ,the unpredictable School owner whos
family are the towns royalty.All of them with their very
distinct personalities that give the town a special aura.
In the week ahead we will meet people that we like and like
us and also those who we cant stand and also dont care at
all for us.like the townspeople of Sophiapolis ,they will
be complex and display differing personalities often
impossible for us to comprehend .In a week full of such a
huge range of emotions .morals and behaviour it is always wise to
remain and always be yourself.
