trying to hard... In my efforts to please creditors, I got a home equity loan, which is really close to bankrupting us. I will get out of this mess, with a new mortgage, but I learned a lesson. No matter how smart we think we are, someone is a little smarter. No matter how honest we may be in our dealings with others, there are others who are equally dishonest. I managed to pay off a lot of old medical bills, but it took me two months to figure out the loan I got could never be paid off. "Where fools rush in..."
On another front, had my book sale/signing last week and it went well. Talking to a few people, I became determined to "create" a job/career. The next day, I gave my sales pitch and it was well received. Tentative launch date is this September, but I won't go into details about it, until a contract has been signed. If all goes well, the path my Higher Power has taken me on, is a journey with no end...
