Funeral thoughts 10/7/2004 2:25:31 PM
Survived the funeral, or should I say joint funerals. Two 24 year olds, laying side by side. Jon was a good kid, who at times, walked on the wild side. But he was changing, slowly, but he was. My wife and I talked to his roommate after the funeral and he said, Jon talked about me and my book. He was looking forward to reading it. In our little ways, we help people without realizing it. He was preparing to return to college this month, and asked if I would help him with English. I was looking forward to it, one, because I might learn something and two, the goal of getting Jon entirely off drugs and alcohol were at hand. I honestly believe is future was bright!
