Hyacinths poem 3/11/2006 7:40:35 AM
I am gratified to see that so many people have read my Hyacinths poem. It was written at time of great emotion, after I'd been newly diagnosed with breast cancer, and did not know what the future held for me.
Seeing the hyacinths, that evening, sitting there on the kitchen table, with the lamp light throwing shadows all around them, made life flow through my veins. It touched me very deeply. I am fine now, bye the way.
