Dogs - our connection with God 3/21/2006 4:40:50 AM
What is it about dogs, that touches almost all of us so deeply? One expert has reported that canines and humans have identical central nervous systems, and that we recognize that in each other. I like to think it is something more profound, than that. One writer has said that dog is God, spelled backwards. It seems that canines are above the earthly concerns of us mortals. They are psychic, and altruistic, and all forgiving. Dogs love us more unconditionally, than even our mothers did. I have rarely been without a dog, since the age of two or three, and I never want to be without one, as long as I live.
