Rewriting Teacher on the Run 4/15/2006 3:47:13 PM
You will notice that Teacher on the Run is now titled Not in Nagoya. Now that I am getting the rights back, I have decided to rewrite it as a Young Adult novel. I feel it is probably most suitable for that market. I have pulled the chapter preview until I get the first chapters into the form that I wish. For instance, instead of having a late thirties love interest, I will make him closer to Whitney's age. I hope I'm doing the right thing, and not trashing my novel, as I have been known to do in the past. post more about it as I rewrite it. Since I am now tutoring Japanese students, I have had more opportunity to learn more about Japanese ways, and that the east and west are more alike than they are different. I'd like feedback from any and all readers as to whether you think I am improving the book or wrecking it. Thanks
