Horeshoe Bend Friends of the Library and the public were fascinated to hear Carol and I explain how we came to work together five years ago. We were glad to answer their questions on the creative process of a collaboration like ours.

We shared how we inspire each other to create individual visual and written images by focusing on events in our lives, then combine them to project particular moods and aromas for our readers/audiences.

I read a number of poetry and prose pieces from In the Playhouse of My Mind Volume I, Scattered Rainbows Volume II, and Life on a Seesaw Volume III and Carol offered details on choosing her media and the type of process she used. The audience had favorites they requested from the earlier volumes.

At least a dozen pieces of Carol's images that appear in Life on a Seesaw Volume III were on display for purchase as well as greeting cards of work from the book.

We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves with such a receptive audience.
