If anyone reading this is a Notary Public, especially in the United States, you owe it to yourself to join the National Notary Association. It's their 50th anniversary and I just attended their 29th annual conference in Los Angeles. It was intense and exhausting, if you chose to attend your choice of the full spectrum of workshops and other activities. Extremely informative! Next year's conference will be held in New Orleans, so plan to go, especially if you are in the Eastern or Southern states and have less of a "commute" than many will have. You'll learn a lot and will benefit from all the support the NNA gives you.
