Blogs by John W Townsend LAST NIGHT 11/25/2009 1:28:52 AMHumphrey Lytleton memorial concert I went to the charity concert with the late Humphrey Lytletons jazz band playinglast night. and what a dreat show it was. Makes you realise just what a difference a live band makes, when they talk and breath their skill. Six guys from 80 down to maybe 30 all playing because they just love to play, and each trying to out do the other to grab the solo line, it was sheer fun and so amusing with an old timer British comic, Barry Crier, throwing in all the old gags as the MC. Gags like, 'You know I have never enjoyed myself so much, oh the last time I had so much fun was when Readers Digest lost my address.'
