Linda's wedding yesterday

You can't guess what nearly happened yesterday to me! I told you I was going to my niece's wedding - well I nearly missed it!

I was up early (5.45am) with Catherine's dogs and came back to my apartment at 7. I messed about a bit and blogged etc. and at 10.30am I decided to have a lie down for half an hour before getting ready for the wedding. Catherine and Morgan were to collect me at 1.30pm and the wedding was at 2.30pm.

The next thing I knew was when I woke at 1.27pm!!!!!!! and C&M were here. No bath, no hair wshed!!! Panic, panic, panic!!

Believe it or not, I was in the car and leaving at 1.56pm, bathed, hair done and ready, but very stressed!!

After that, though, things went smoothly and we had a lovely day. The weather was very kind to the soldiers in their uniforms who formed the Guard of Honour, as it wasn't too hot (not like C&M's day four years ago - see LwtLoLA - when it baked us and melted the firemen). The rain just kept off long enough for the photgraphs and then we had a lovely meal at the Warwick Arms.

I got home at 9.45pm.

No news from the Low Arvie maternity bay!
