On Tuesday 29th November my interview with Don Macauley will be aired on The Authors Show on internet radio.
It was quite difficult to conduct the interview as I was in Warwick, England and Don is in the States, so I am very unsure about how it will turn out. Anyway you can hear it on http://www.wnbnetworkwest.com/WnbAuthorsShow.html or by googling The Authors Show.
Here in the UK we are suffering an early winter. A ot of the eastern side of the country has a lt of snow and overnight it has reached us here in Warwick, although only about 1 cm so far. I return to Low Arvie on Monday and we are forecast to get a lot of snow tomorrow so it looks like I will be having a nightmare journey home.
Back at the farm, things are becoming difficult in the below freezing temperatures. Richard is struggling once again to keep the animals fed and watered.
Happily, Zinnia has now taken over looking after Bella, the orphan calf, as well as Zola, her own calf. I am so pleased that Bella now has a mother to care for her. Richard is still supplementing her milk intake but it seems quite clear that she is getting plenty from Zinnia as she doesn't take too much of the supplement any longer and is no longer shouting for it as she was.
