European elections, a view...

The European elections this weekend saw the rise of the
extreme right to power,except in Greece where the extreme
left gained power, and a victory for maverick non
mainstream parties in general.Most likely a show of protest
votes and a chance to vote for something you admire ,but not
to govern your own country. In Scotland little changed and
the National party polled the biggest pecentage across the
board ,although UKIP picked uo a lot more votes in Scotland
than had been expected.In England however the right wing
thoroughly conservative with a big c and openly very anti
european UKIP met with unparalleled success and swept the
boards in many English constituencies.It was to be their
night of jublilation.Deeply unpopular immigration,pro
European union policies of the LAbour and Conservative
parties are seen to be the root of its success plus a smear
propaganda plan by the media which only served to give them
more publicity and public sympathy. While Britains ,again,
low rating at the Eurovision Song Contest only cosolidated
the mindset that Europe "HATES US" in popular opinion. I
cant understand why so called intelligent media
journalists and broadcasters cant grasp the importance of
that.
