Stumbling into early articles and adventures is happy time.
My study demanded to look more like it was inhabited by a writer and less like a village trash bin. Digging into the shelves and file cabinets of the room's closet turned out to be a real "find" for me.

I unearthed a travel diary piece I wrote for the fabulous editor, Chia Greer, of New Works Review. NWR was a pioneering online quarterly magazine site that featured a section titled Passport Journal. Re-reading Odyssey Down Under downloaded images, sights, sounds, smells, and tastes I hadn't thought of in years.

I'm thinking about sharing some of them as soon as I meet an August 31st deadline I have. Meeting deadlines was one of the many professional requirements I learned from Chia, God bless her. I have had much to thank her for over the years.
