Demagogues Never Accept the Blame

When your base is a mob of empty-headed zealots, you don't call the party that passed Social Security, Medicare, the GI Bill, The Marshal Plan, gave women the vote, and passed the Child Labor laws a mob. That's hypocrisy.
Demagogues tend to target vulnerable people, those who might be a little off (or a lot) upstairs, those who look for somebody to blame and never except the blame when something is there fault (the recent stock market irregularity). It's rather surprising we haven't had more incidents as we've had like yesterday and today where one of these targets planted bombs at the homes of Bill and Hillary Clinton, George Soros, and Barack Obama. The year before one of these misguided psychopaths showed up at a pizza shop which was supposed to be harboring a sex trafficking ring run by Hillary Clinton. Luckily all he did was fire a shot into the ceiling. But if Donald Trump keeps inciting violence, this sort of thing will happen more frequently. What's surprising is that when somebody like Maxine Waters tells democrats they need to stand up to Republican bullying, they act like they're being persecuted. Recently McConnell and Cruz have been verbally assaulted at restaurants. You would have thought somebody had planted a bomb at their doorsteps. All McConnell did was steal a Supreme Court justice; all Cruz did was incite tea party members to shout down democratic candidates during debates and town hall meetings. And how can we forget the George Soros lookalikes in the Republican party, the openly supportive ones like the Koch brothers and the Chinese casino owner Adelson who give much more money to the Republican party than George Soros does to the democrats and those who hide behind the anonymity of the Super Pacs. I should mention Steve Bannon and Cambridge Analytica (at least he was one of the founders( who stole private information from Facebook from seventy million people and targeted them with Russian bots like the one mentioned above where Hillary was supposedly running a sex trafficking ring or that she had Parkinson's disease. I think we all deserve an apology from the Republican party and the demagogue who encourages this kind of behavior. Prior to the Kavanaugh hearings, a majority of American voters opposed the Kavanaugh nomination. Since Trump's almost daily rallies all over the country, that's no longer the case. Are we really that maleable? You're taking the word of a lifetime Republican activist (Kavanaugh worked for Ken Starr and George Bush before he received his appointment to the 10th District Federal Court) over that of a clinical psychologist who didn't cry at all during her testimony.
